I presume the drum can be taken off, and regular mags used.
The actual gun looks a lot nicer than the other other VZ 58s I've seen.
Can this gun be bought with just regular mags and not pay extra for the boobs?

We need a uniquely designed firearm, with its own proprietary magazine, that just happens to fit an AR15 or VS58.
