I'm aware this subject has been beaten to death, but I'm having a heck of a time finding the information I need. I just would like to know of signs to look for that your rifle is over gassed. Also if anyone else has one and knows how to identify the year of the rifle.

I had similar concerns on my compact sporter in 7.62. I contacted CSA here in Canada. They gave me the approximate distance Tay that the casings should eject. I believe it is within 10 feet. Mine was well within that. They also told me that if there was a problem with manufacture that they would correct the problem.

The year is right here. Its next to the Czech lion proof mark. This is pretty much exclusive to all Czech guns with some exceptions. My CZ 550 and CZ 455 have this same proof mark with the year next to it and my brothers CZ 75 also has this same mark with year.

The best thing for you to do to find out if yours has an issue is to send the serial number to CSA. They have an effected serial number range and they will tell you if that serial number falls in that category. If your rifle is made in 2014, chances are you're good to go.
