csa vz58 barrel crown problem

hey guys just bought a new csa vz58 this is what the barrel crown looks like. any opinions are appreciated.

At least your keeper pin is functioning. Mine arrived extremely stiff, and certainly not spring loaded...

Either contact the company you bought it from or contact Movie Armaments to see what can be done about it. Their turn around time for repairs is very quick if it needs to be returned for service. That doesn't look like right.

thanks for the link, i am going to ask the dealer for a replacement as i havent fired it yet. if that doesnt work i guess i will call for warranty service. the crown actually dips into the barrel so i cant see how it will be very accurate.

No problem, glad to help. It definitely looks like it slipped past QC before leaving the factory. You're going to love the VZ once it's good to go

It could be fixed with come careful file work but i would probably try getting it replaced first.
