CSA VZ58 - Hot Lower Hand Guard!

So I got a chance to shoot my new CSA VZ58 Carbine (11.5") yesterday.
It's my first Red rifle and I absolutely love it! It shoot great, fits me well and the cost of ammo is very reasonable.
My only concern is that I had to stop shooting it at 100rnds(I brought 500) because the lower hand guard was getting so hot(even with gloves on) I thought it was going to melt!

Question: Is there a heat shield or fix for the stock polymer lower guard?
I like the looks of the stock grips so I'm not interested in the offerings from NEA or BC Tactical.
Any thoughts would be appreciated....

I don't believe there's an existing mod for the stock factory polymer hanguard...have you tried switching grip to cup the mag when this happens?

yeeeeep !!! aluminum foil is a good idea .

Steal one of your wife's Nomex cooking gloves and lay a strip of that material under the barrel.

This grip style does not work for me. Feels too weak but it seems to work for many.

I thought of that and installed some but thought it was too wimpy!

No...just the 2x 5rndrs so I wasn't shooting fast if that's what you're getting at.
I'm looking for more mags and found some for $21/each but the dealer hasn't returned my PM's
