Yeah, I did this. The buffer tube however is still moveable. Will try some loctite or something.

Loosen off the buffer till it is straight then tighten the castle nut good.

Mine was really tight too. Like others have said, a good whack with a dead force hammer and punch.

Hopefully once I loctite the buffere tube, center it and screw the nut down it will stay solid during shooting.

I'm hoping to find the magwell adapter (and Mags), foregrips and a QD sight rail for my VZ this weekend at the Gun Show. I'll pick up some penetrating oil and a deadblow on my way home if it's this much "fun" to punch a pin out...
