CSA VZ58 multi position ambi safety?

I am planning my VZ58 build and I have settled on a non-restricted CSA in 7.62x39 with an M4 stock.

I am adding a NEA rail set, extended mag and slide release, and an Ambi safety.

That brings me to the topic here.

I am interested in an Ambi safety, more specifically a multi position ambi safety that will allow me to set either selector switch in the position best for me.

I seem to remember something like that once being offered, but I can't find it for the life of me.

The only ambi safety I have tracked down is the NEA version which says it doesn't work on CSA guns.

Any advice?

I've got a first model NEA ambi selector on my CSA. It works just fine if you remove the tip of the "pointer" on the right hand side.

You can set the position of the LH side, but not the right. There is no selector out there that allows you to set both sides.

Don't get the second version, it rotates the original direction and adds no benefit.

is that an AR grip adapter? on your rifle? ^^^^^^^^ never seen one before did you order it local?

Stevo that is exactly what I am after. Looks like yours is set on the left side to work similar to an AR, rotate down with your thumb correct? Then right side to put back on safe?

I am just guessing that tracking down a first generation is NOT going to be easy.

Any idea how many 1st Gen were made?

It's the Ace AK/AR adapter. Both the adapter and the grip require some mods to make it fit. I've seen it listed on Brownells.

Yes, push down with the thumb to Fire, pull back with trigger finger to Safe.

I have no idea how many Gen 1 were made, but it can't be that many.
