People are assuming it is Cerakote. Can you specify what finish it is ?

Thats really a no brainer. I'm sure one of N. S.'s retailers can sell you a black one for 995. or so, and you spend 2-300 getting it professionally Cerakoted in your favourite OD.

Factory did not specify what type of paint they used. It's not Cerakote.

It's not the same rifle at Ammo Source. Could you give us more detail about these fab defense magazine (model) who should be compatible with this VZ please ?

yes it is the same rifle....they just listed it on April 6.

Wow, glad i picked up an unfired FDE vz58 off of EE for $900 last year....$1400...my god our dollar is hurting.

This is the most appealing VZ/CZ I've personally seen.
It's the only one that dosent remind me of big scary dudes wearing track suits in Bosnia cirque 1992.

I thought the first thing a gun should is to reliably fire, ahead of looking appealing.

So ... yeah, CZ 858 is the real thing.

We're getting about 40 guns every 4-6 weeks but since this shipment contains FDE models we're not entirely sure if we will get more FDE models or black ones on the next shipment. Demand is definitely outstripping supply for the non-restricted models.

Thanks for the information, I currently have one paid for on back order, so I was just curious. 40 guns a month doesn't sound like a lot for all of Canada.
