Technically it's a rifle but wasn't sure where to post.

CSA VZ61 Scorpion 22lr.

Anyways. Through a 20 round mag dump, occasionally I get an auto slam fire or two. I want to get it fixed asap before something bad happens. What should I look for in the trigger mechanism? I can't find any info online about it. I wanted to ask peoples opinions and see if I can fix it myself before I take it to the gunsmith. I have also already contacted the business from which I bought it from.

It's done it with cci, federal bulk, winchester, and thunderbolts.

Part of me thinks it could be from underpowered cartridges not pushing the bolt fully back enough to catch the trigger during a cycle. Could this be a possibility?

Tore the gun apart and I can't find any issues. The only thing I've been able to come up with is under powered ammo. Going to try out high velocity 22lr and see if it stops. The trigger assembly works and it should. The hammer where it hooks was very rough where it catches so I polished it to make sure everything is smooth and catching correctly. Nothing is sticking. Repeated the cycle over and over.

The cci ammo I used was mixed in with federal now that I think about it. So I will have to retest with cci.
