I recently purchased one of the CSA skorpions from sfrc. I have had nothing but issues. Ftf, fte. I read that it maybe picky about ammo so I tried some fn stuff and some Remington. The fn is hotter then the Remington and is a wee bit better. But still problems.
The sfrc guys sent me to the warranty depot guys. Neither seems to know if there are issues like this that are common. Anyone here have experience with one of these guns from the recent shipment? Am I the only one having problems?

I wasn't sure where to post this so here it is :)

The short mags cause some serious malfunctions for me.. Try some s&b ammo or some blazer, mine was a little rough for the first 150rds but now it seems good

Thanks skip. I did notice the longer mag a bit better. Did you get your s&b from a sponsr site?

I don't sell guns Skin.

Mabey its a CZ thing. All the CZ pistols that I have owned like SHORT ammo. So now I reload a shorter overall length. zero problems.

My non site sponsor supplier of 32 auto is currently out of stock but it is on order. White box is a waste of your time, the Remington stuff I had (UMC maybe?) worked good but I can't find it again, I've put 150rds of blazer aluminum in mine with 1 failure in the short mag. 100 rds of white box with aprox 100 malfunctions ... With one double stove pipe.. 2 empty cases jammed in the bolt at once (what the actual f@ck ) and a few hundred rounds of s&b with a few jams on that damned little mag. It seems like these things need ammo loaded to machine gun spec ( like I like my women ... Short and hot)

Makes sense. It was designed as a sub machine gun after all.

it was more of a haha...I am glad the the on longer mag worked a bit better....Q'n are you using a metal or polymer mag? If metal have you looked into polishing the contact surface areas to make function smoother? I had a metal mag once that had a small bur that was always causing me grief until I ground it down and polished the contact areas.

Just thought of another thing....maybe try some ammo with zinc plated casings as they are still reloadable but primarily the zinc plating is supposed to make feeding and ejecting the round easier as the zinc coating provides a smaller drag coefficient that just straight brass or even the aluminium blazer rounds....just food for thought
