CTC Deuling Tree + PPS 50

I just bought this Dueling tree from CTC on friday
Manufacturer is - Champion Traps + targets
Its called - 22 Target Tree
$85.00
Took it out of the box and assembled and thought to myself , this thing is a flimsy peice of crap
Well I'll take it out back and shoot the heck out of it and see ( poured 10w30 down the pivot tubes )
Some of the plates wouldent swing so I just kept shooting untill they loosened up ,
Lots of burrs and sharp edges , could be filed smooth first but I wanted to see if it would work straight out of the box , it did

My PPS 50 , 50 round drum (metal one) shot 525 rounds flawlessly

The Tree took it and works great , super fun !

Plates have no dents or craters , I am impressed

Cant wait for my son to be home in day light for a Duel !
He has a 715T

I have one of those also. Make sure to round the flat bar that mounts the targets where it rides on the angled tubes. Right where it is welded to the pivot rod and rubs on the angled tube as it will quickly bash a notch in there and make the targets very hard to pivot. I found out the hard way and had to regrind the angles on all the tubes.
