CTCS... Awesome shoot on Sunday! Thank you for the sponsorship and great prizes!
I think everyone walked out with something :)

Thank you also to the Chilliwack club and volunteers for all the hard work in setting it up! Cannot do it without all the volunteers to organise, set up, and run the shoot.

Fun times that's for sure.
Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, other competitors for an awesome Sunday 2gunday!

If your hesitating about coming out and getting your case card, I'd strongly suggest just doing it and going in with an open mind. There's no drama involved, or getting rule books involved. Just a bunch of like-minded individuals having an awesome time with firearms.

A little video for all the people interested in seeing stages from the match. (And shameless plug for my YouTube channel). Warning, some strong language (I gots a potty mouth :( )

I did the exact same thing on the exact same spot as you did on Stage 4 when you went for your pistol mag and grabbed the AR mag instead. I was also fighting the dummy, just about kicked it the entire way of the course of fire!
Glad you enjoyed the match Kam!

Yeah I was about to toss it to the ground then the gears started to turn... Too bad I completely forgot about my dump pouch or 3 empty tacos on my belt and shoved it into a closed cargo pocket... So much fail lol
I want to try this real bad......but, really have to work on my skills first.

No you don't, last year I was bottom 10 lol.
Get into it you'll do just fine, as long as you are safe with a firearm and know the manual of arms.

Great match, I really enjoyed shooting my M14 rifle. I also like the $50 gift card to DS Tactical in New Westminster. You have a great bunch of sponsors.

Bsands, trying to place you. Were you smellypete's ARO at the match? If so, saw your hand gunning on Stage 5, pretty quick shooting!

Haha yep that'd me. Would have been faster if I didn't cut across the sand/gravel and earn me a procedural. I've been practicing a bit with the shadow, the RDS really helps. I've also noticed that I run way faster with a gun than without lol.

Cool! Say hi the next time! We talk here but good to put a face to a name!
Wasn't the run up to the rifle position fun??

Good video. I like to stay away from restricteds, but this looks too much fun. I'll have to get a glock 34 and fit it with a red dot. a decade and a half ago and in another country I used to have a Glock 24 with +2 mag base plates (17 rnd mags of 40 S&W). I loved it, but I sold it when I moved to Canada. Seems like you did really good. Congrats.

Are you wearing the camera on your forehead? I recently fitted my GoPro into the visor of a ball cap and I seem to be getting a higher point of view than yours. Yours seems to be closer to eye level. Here's a video shot with the ball cap camera: https://youtu.be/wfWJDSn2MMw

Won't be for a couple years lol, going back east end of the month. Yee, I enjoyed the rundown part quite a bit surprisingly.

I;ve borrowed a fellow USPSA shooters hatcam mount idea. He cut out the brim of the cap, and used a screw to secure the end of the gopro mount. I'm using a gopro hero4 session.

I'm the RO in the pic below

Ha... Until now, I hadn't noticed that it is indeed you ROing in that image. Everytime I saw it I would just notice Greg's VZ 58. I thought you shot your video with a head band mount like the one Greg is wearing. I mounted my camera on a ball cap like you did, but I seem to be getting a higher view angle. I'll open up the POV camera setting from medium to wide and see if that makes a difference. I'm using a Hero 2, but I could also try my Hero 4 silver. I just wanted to limit the Hero 4 to scuba duty. Hero 2 case seems more sturdy and capable of withstanding more abuse.
