Curiosity question about powder coating bullets

When powder coating bullets, is the powder coat designed to be a lubricant or is it just regular powder coat paint? I dont powder coat, nor do i know anyone who does, but the above question crossed my mind recently.

If it is just paint, does it leave any residue in the barrel?

If it is just paint, and it does leave a residue, it must be difficult to clean? Powder coat paint is pretty toigh stuff.

Powder coat becomes the lubricant and if done right will not come off the bullet

Just think of the powder coat as a jacketed bullet, as mentioned if done properly, it will not come off (hammer smash test, squish bullet in vice, etc).
there will be fouling, no different than copper
