Stock cast is what makes a double barrel shotgun left or right handed. Cast on is for left hand and cast off for right hand.

as others have said, cast. But in some guns, palm swells as well, and rollover combs are different for lefties .
The tough part is finding left handed shot shells ..............

Doubles with two triggers (should) have them sloped to the left instead of to the right.

I think you are confusing with the organized nails in a box - which are for North side of house and which are for South side - depending which way they are pointed when you pick them up. Never heard it was an issue with shotgun shells, but goes a long way to explain some misses that I have had!!!
