Current M1A mags from Marstar

Welds are to keep you from changing long mags to 20 rounds from 5. Any of that can be over come. I would suggest contacting P&D enterprises in Edmonton and see what they have. They HAD exellent mags.

I know what welds are.

I also know that the existing methods on the 18+ mags I've purchased commercially over the last 5 years have all been legally acceptable. All the welded base plates are preventing me from is properly cleaning mags.

I do not want to go defeating welds intended to keep people out of the magazines. I see great potential for that action to be legally compromising.
