Current Ontario LTATT Wait

OK but it seems you guys in Ontario can get approval on transferring restricted private sales a lot faster than us. Not a lot of sense here.

Yeah, it took less than 24 hours for my last 2 private transfers. I think they received enough flak from the Ombusman.

As for wait times, I'm almost at a month assuming my club sent the application in as soon as it was completed. I was told to wait a month before bothering them.

I think they caught up, and then slowed down again. I submitted some on August 19th, and they came back on the 21st. I think this was a record. I submitted another batch on August the 27th, and haven't seen them yet. I usually estimate 3-4 weeks.

As far as I know all LTATTs are all sent to the club secretaries, and STATTs are sent to the individuals (as the club does not get involved.) I did get snail mail copies for years, however I've opted to have them sent via email now. I think some clubs still get the hard copies, however I don't know for sure.

Damn, you were lucky! It took 10wks for mine. I had to get the club to pester the CFO. Others in my club ATT class had already gotten theirs weeks prior. Bastards!

My club emailed me my LTATT in a PDF file and it wasn't a scanned version of a hardcopy.

Call your club and ask them to follow up on it. I was told specifically by my club not to call in person. Dunno if that's a condition or not.

Just received mine..took 3 weeks. however it expires november, 2015. is this a mistake as i thought they were good for 5 years so long as you maintained an active membership?

If it's anything like my club, all of the club's ATT expire on a given date, or when your license does. When the club date comes up, they all requested again for five years.
