Have the itch for a 22 magnum. Looking at the ruger american, savage b series and the cz 457 synthetic. I have not been able to get my hands on a 457 synthetic yet, they seem hard to find. It seems to have a real light profile barrel in pics. Any 22 mag fans out there that have tried a variety of rifles? Accuracy is highest on the list.
 
Ive got a cz 457 american.. if accuracy is high on your list, this is very good ! so far mine is doing 5 shot groups in a nickel at 25 yards with cci a22 ammo.
 
I have an Anschutz 1522 chambered in 22 WMR. With ammo it likes, it is a very decent shooter.
I have several .7 moa groups at 100 meters, but the big hangup with the WMR is quality ammo.

It is considerably easier to get very accurate 22 LR ammo than to get the same with the WMR.
Mine likes a certain lot of silver box 40 grain HP Winchester ammo, and also does well with
the plastic tipped 33 grain "Accutip" Remington stuff.

Hates the Federal 50 grain, though. (3 moa) Most CCI shoots 1.25 moa or so. EE.
 
My friend bought the stainless American last year, very impressed. Have not shot groups at 100 yards, but at small game range it is great.
 
ah.. mines just for small game and anything up to 25 yrds. Ive shot several 22mag and they are disappointing in accuracy. I was very pleased with how my cz was shooting for a 22mag. If your out to 100 yards, id follow Eagleyes advice and shell out the big buck for an anschutz. ..wonderful firearms

If your alway at 100 yards shots, myself id be looking at 223
