What the hell is happening to the prices of surplus ammunition? I see places are charging what use to be a full crate of ammition, is now only a half crate. 880rds of 7.62x54r was $200 now its over $400. 2840 rounds of 7.62x25 was $300 now its $275 for half that. 700rds of 7.62x39, half a crate, is $200. That use to be a full crate! I know the Canadian Peso is down but what the @#$%?

I just bought 1400rnds of 7.62x39 for $250.

Ammo prices this year are going nowhere but up (low dollar, lower supply, higher transport costs)

Tonight, an analyst on the CBC predicted the dollar would drop to 59 cents within a year, if that prediction holds out, current prices would seem like a deal in comparison. Hopefully, this prediction proves false .... Cause you know .... Sunny ways, sunny ways ... I'm not exactly confident in our current government.

Westrifle has been warning us about the huge price increases for weeks, I jumped on a few 1500rd crates of 7.62x39 corrosive from cabelas during their sale ~ $241 tax in. Sadly higher prices are here to stay.
