i have bought a lot of various old powder cans and have found in a box 3 pound of curtis 'F' gunpowder.

i dont know what caliber i can charge with it. is it for a black powder rifle? black powder gun? old rifle like my 45-70??

is it like goex 1F??

I used it in 24 through 12 bore smoothbores.

To answer your question, yes it is black powder and the load should be very similar to Goex 1F
