Custom 10/22 project

looking at another custom 10/22 project where to start? I have stock & barrel & extended mag release in mind, what else should I consider doing? this will be a target / gopher gun.

Must Haves:
- VQ Extractor
- modified bolt release
- extended mag release
- bolt buffer
- trigger spring kit

Optional:
- Bull barrel
- Thumbhole stock

Rimfire Central can give you some good ideas.

Change the entire trigger mechanism. Either go Kidd or VQ.

Yes but only with its own proprietary magazines.
