Custom Action builds for 2012, a BARNARD anyone

While I will not claim that PGW rifles are the be all and end all, maybe you should look out to the eastern and western regions of this expansive country, out past the parts of the Ontario map where the sea monsters and dragons normally reside.

PGW rifles have won numerous championships in Manitoba and at the PPRA annual meet at Nokomis, SK. Matt W. also campaigns in NB and at Connaught with a PGW ( or did last time I saw his gun) and holds his own, even wins a few ;)

Or is it your position that those results don't count because they did not happen in Ontario?

Last time I checked, mine was still working fine...

A PGW should be able to shoot since they use Krieger barrels, but what makes the rifle any better than another custom action with a Krieger barrel? It seems odd to me that they are somehow more magically accurate.

There no magic of any kind, only if you hanging around with the Pope Alot, There Alot great action out the that could produce an accurate rifle, I am sure an Mauser 98 with Ted Gaillard barrel will do, but have you ever handle coyote yet?,very robust and well build, go and check one out before doing the band wagon, and the look, not just any #### in his garage put together a rifle as such, and called tactical this or that, my advice go and check one out!

gunboy is simply just taking yet another veiled stab at us. He has been warned many times about this and that is partly why his jibberish is barely comprehensible.

"not just any #### in his garage put together a rifle as such, and called tactical this or that" when translated from his jibberish to english says not just any Rick in his garage can put together a rifle as such and call it Alberta Tactical.

I guess he figures our shop is still the garage it started out as 15 years ago, and I know he still harbors deep feelings towards ATRS as he is constantly slagging us.
Despite his never owning a PGW product as he admits, it must be hard for Ross and Steve with having an extra nose someplace where you don't normally have 1

I won't waste my time Arguing with ####, the next thing he does is complain to admin, but I will say this Ask Some one on this forum whom happen to live near where you are, that Own a Timberwolf or Coyoto, and check it out, also AI and SaKO, if you want an accurate rifle with great look, if you just want an Accurate rifle, and look doesn't bother you, then Rem700 with minor tunning will do.

OK gunboy and I do mean boy

this iw my thread and gunboy has just proven defamation and I for one will be the first witness, even if the statement is retracted,

you are a piece of work lad.

you have just proven that Rick was correct in his statement,

you need ot be suspended from this forum for a while and i will ask the Admin to do just that for if they do not then it promotes defamation,

I am on Stiller's list for the next round of RBLP drop-port Diamondback actions they may build. It will be a while.

Considering buying a used 6PPC or 6BR for BR. Also considering a Borden action on one of those new Kelbly carbon fiber stocks.

2 items for consideration

1. ask the admin to ban gun boy for a month for obvious reasons or provide his address for legal recourse,

2. the drop ports work nice as i have one in a BR gun, only twenty rounds to fire form some brass for the world championships in vienna in 2007 but it cycles nice, and Robertson bedded the stock with the stiller funnel so it ACTUALLY WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD, think i have an extra funnel around here someplace if they forget to send one,

3. as to the new Kelbly stock I am under the impression from a phone call after the Cactus classic (in phoenix) yesterday that it is just like all their stocks and not a true carbon fibre model as pictured by LM (hydro dipped) and as a stock designer that has a stock that is actually made (JTR) there are other stocks out there to consider (and I shoot at Kelblys every year and park next to LM)

You need to back away from the keyboard as well. Some of what you posted is contrary to the board rules.

I suggest you stop trolling this other user. I fail to see what was posted as meeting the definition of what you think it is. Clearly people can be entitled to thier opinions, whether they are correct or off base and stupid.

It bothers me that you feel the need to demand multiple times for a user to be banned because you disagree with his opinion of a product. Frankly you think he is trolling? Perhaps he is, but so are you.

THe rest of you keep it civil. Anymore stupid talk of lawsuits and defamation and this thread and a few of you might end up recycled. Thanks

To get this topic back on point I'm thinking I'll be building a 26" broughton .308 1-10" with 5c rifling on 700 action in a mdt tac 21 chassis with PTs stock or I'll just get Rick at atrs to build me something

Thanks for letting me know, I'm told it will be a long while before I have one in my hands though!

Though the JTR isn't available right now :/ When it is, I will order one to use on the Stiller.

I'm still deciding, but I'm strongly leaning toward a Borden-built 6PPC rifle on a Terry Leonard stock. Those look beautiful, and Borden's reputation for attention to detail does appeal. Plus Hirsch Precision is their authorized importer, which makes it easier.

you are 100 % correct, i have owned half a dozen leonards and they are great and they work, only say 1 leonard that was not straight and BAT machine fixed it last year for a guy in the USA

HIrsch is a god sent now that he is bringing in actions, barrels dn hopefully there wil be some left this summer when everone gets the itch to buy,

I think he is smart enough to order a pile of stuff as then he can supply brass, bullets and parts ot do a great build, WOW that will be nice,

Jeff

We have Borden actions on order and are ordering Barnards today. The latter can deliver quickly. In addition, literally hundreds of barrels are coming, including True-Flite(due in 2 weeks), Barlein and Krieger. Now we just have to figure out how to pay for it all!

Regards,

Peter

Last time I checked, mine was still working fine...

In spite of being run over by a minivan, I might add.

To be fair, it is one of the very early single shot Coyote models. Steve won't tell me how old it is, but he did tell me it was one of the ones he build on the Bridgeport...

That's an awesome piece of kit! I'd love to have something like that.

Matt, are you sure that isn't a Timberwolf, as my Coyote has a round, Rem 700 footprint, also nice, with longer thread area and better bolt stop/release and coned bolt?

Great job Peter! Now I just have to decide if I want a Borden rifle or Barnard action! Decisions decisions..
