Custom actions

Hi...having a problem finding out if I buy a custom action like
Nesika, Stolle etc. Can I just order a barrel, have it chambered, screw it in the receiver without having to get
any gunsmithing done? I would need the proper bolt face
obviously but other than that...is it douable?

You are pretty much right, I was looking at a Barnard action at Robertson's Composites Stocks he is member on this site, and he has barrels as well, It is all set to put barrel on trigger comes with action, no work needed trueing action its done. But I would have a good smith to instale barrel.

Have it chambered???
It will need to be headspaced. Are you capable of doing that? Do you havve the proper tools to breech and de-breech the specific action you are purchasing? If not, see a gunsmith. Normally when one spends that kind of money on an action(Nesika, et la), one would want the work done properly, extremely precisely, and without trying to save a few cents by doing it yourself, and chancing messing it up......just my two cents...
