Custom AR-15 Lower Receivers Available!

This is cool, Ive had upper to lower fit problems in the past, If I send in my upper will they match it for best fit? I wonder I wonder

We should have a bunch of standard lowers available in a few weeks. If you send in your upper, we can certainly hand-select a lower that best fits your upper.

Seems simple enough-prepay. Love to see the douches who didn't follow through outed , but...

This creates a nightmare for charge-backs. However, we are currently looking at bringing this service back to general customers, albeit at a higher cost.

I would imagine a reasonable non-refundable deposit would suffice to ensure people followed through. 50% up front and the remainder at completion. So even if they flake you can sell the lower at a heavily discounted price if it's already been done.

Unless it has a maple leaf or a hab logo on it...then 100% up front since who in their right minds would want that. :)

Could you give us any indication as what would be the new price and when it could be available again, if you decide to offer that service again. Thanks

We'll be offering custom laser engraving instead. Pricing will be the same as the previous custom receivers. Turnaround time will be significantly decreased, and it allows anyone who bought our standard lower receivers to still have theirs laser engraved.

Too bad you don't offer the real engraving anymore, I really like the depth it gives, and it also gives the opportunity to armacoat the firearms over the engraving, while the laser engraving will be covered by the new finish, I might just get one of you dust cover anyway, they look real nice!

^^^+1^^^ Your CNC engraving was a FAR superior product. If you ever bring that back...I'll take 2. Paid upfront...of course!!!

We still have these available. Pricing is $349.99 and the wait list is currently around 3months.

To answer a few questions:

Unfortunately, it's just not worth it. Too many non-paying customers, which results in wasted time designing and test sampling, which in turn results in much higher wait times for the other people who have placed an order. Also, the infrequency of forging deliveries can also severely affect wait times.

Yes, custom implies hard engraved, pre-anodizing. And we will absolutely continue to sell the standard bare lower with no special engraving. Since there is plenty of open areas on our standard lower, this will give people the option to laser engrave their lower at any time. There are many shops that offer laser engraving, but we are looking at bringing this in-house.

From the most recent email that we have on record, you indicated that you wanted your lower to be laser engraved, which is still possible via our standard lower receiver. We do not have the in-house laser engraving capability at this time, however, you may wish to have it done at another shop that specializes in laser engraving.

So, what changed from your statement here....I'm glad you changed your mind, but what prompted it?

^^^^ That question. TTT.
Will gladly pre-pay in full for a custom engraved lower.

If I didn't see these answers deep inside this thread that I didn't read all of......

- What is the size of the areas for engraving?
- Will a Adobe Illustrator Vector file be fine or do you require a different format?

Thanks.

Sorry for the necro, but I did not want to start a new thread. Is Motiuk still in business? The numbers listed on their website did not work for me and so far my emails have gone unanswered. I would like a receiver custom engraved by them.
