Custom AR Billet Lower

Is there any company/person who can make a custom marked billet lower? Something similar to the one AR15.com had made.

Also I should add that the only markings I would want are my own...not the companies name, logo or otherwise.

I was under the impression you have to have the model, place of manufacture (company name ans location) and a serial number as minimum on a completed lower to register it.

I think you would have to build your own from an 80% lower to have just your own markings but it still needs the above.

Businesses may need to have the above info, but if you make your own, you just need a serial number
 
I have a Motiuk Manufacturing engraved lower, and it's great. It does have "Motiuk mfg canada" on it.

That's just some extra grease on the second picture, not problems with the finishing.

As mentioned though, too many people were flaking out and asking for samples and tying up shop time and causing delays for people who are actually paying. I'm pretty sure that if you pre-pay they should be able to accommodate you, they just got tired of tire kickers inflating the waiting line.

I've seen the Motiuk ones, and they are ok, but the lower is still the same design as the standard AR lower and they're all marked with the model and company. I'm looking for a company that would make one or a run of lowers that were my markings only and preferably in a design that is a little more interesting than the average lower.

IF you are making them with the plan of selling them to the public then you will need to get a firearms manufacturers license so you can register the lowers as your brand.
We could make a run of them for you but you would be responsible for the costs or programs, fixtures etc, which unless you intend to make a fairly large number would make them cost prohibitive. AND as the manufacturer the lowers would still require the government mandated makers info, place of manufacture and an approved serial numbering system.
The least expensive option would be to have a special run done by a manufacturer with your logo on them. We did this for a company in the UK, so 1 side had the actual manufacturers info, the other was the logo and branding of the company selling them in the UK.
To get your own brand of restricted is harder than non restricted.
 
I think the closest you could get would be to maybe put the manufacturer's stamping put on the front or on the bottom or something.
