Anyone out there ever made a custom barrel shroud? Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who could/would? I don't want to toast my hands on my ruger charger again ....
Anyone have any ideas how to build one? Actually they aren't so hard to build (Piece of pipe, drill some holes). Attaching it would be a different matter. I've thought of set screws but there wouldn't be enough material around the pipe to keep a good thread...I also thought of maybe running a piece of sheet aluminum from the pipe under the scope base of the rifle and attaching it that way, but it's kinda messy....any other ideas?
