Custom BDC

Good jobs, now if you can have glow in the dark letter, that be great for tactical guy who shoot at night!

Yes it would, but if you in total darkness, glow in the dark would work great, similar to my the number on my watch!

But what you got there look very professional, should pat youself in the back couple of time!

Thank's, by the way I was joking with the reflective, yes reflective tape is available but you would still need a flashlight to make it glow so what would be the point of doing it...

I totaly agree with you, glow in the dark would be pretty cool but the material doesn't exist:(

I see, but I you have those utensil , you can tape the whole turret, and use nozzle to spray the whole turret, that does require Alot of work setting up!
But is an ideal!

The easy way is get those tap with plastic cover on the other side, used a metal stamp to stamp out the letter then put the tape on turret, one the paint dry, just remove the tape and you have painted letter on turret, but still require Alot more work!

That is very fine work! Wonder if it would be worthwhile pursuing some patent rights?

Ted

I dont think so, I'm not realy afraid of someone stealing my idea for a few reasons

Here is what you need to make the labels;
- Software to design the tapes cost 500$
- The printer/laminator set cost over 25 000$
- Very limited market
- Mark up does not justify the investment in the equipment
- You need serious experience in long range shooting to understand ballistics, the average Joe who would have the printer wouldn't be able to do it accuratly

It's a fun little product, don't think I'm gonna get rich but at the end of the month if it pays my shooting expenses I will be more then happy ;)

That certainly makes sense! Have you done any tapes up for hunting rifles? Say a Leupold 6X with elevation turret in perahps 270, 7 mag or 300?

Ted
I've done it for all kinds of rifles (mostly varmint hunters)

If you have a target/tactical style turret with any caliber, even for a 22LR, I can make a BDC label for it...
