That's even worse. Push feed is the biggest sin of all on a safari rifle.

Laminate is sacrilege on a safari rifle...![]()
The new M98 Magnums are beautiful, but I seem to recall that they are +$10,000...although the customrifles are also well above that price. Makes the CZ Safari look like the deal of the decade.
I just got a quote via email on a Mauser M98 Magnum. It has a 10-12 month delivery time and costs ~$17,000.
I seem to recall seeing them on a US site for just over US$10,000, not that such an amount puts it within reach. For $17,000 you could buy a nice old rifle with some history - Westley Richards, Rigby etc. Or a decent double rifle from Merkel, Heym etc.

X2.
Even in big bore caliber any rifle that is not control round feed I would not consider a safari rifle.
I like my zkk602 in 375h&h and the other two safari rifle that I will consider to buy (within reach not dream guns) will be 416 rigby either a ruger rsm or a heym.
If I am not mistaken the Heym bolt action Safari is also in the $10,000 range. I think the only "reasonably" (its all relative I guess!) priced rifles in this category are the CZ, RSM, Sako Safari and maybe A-Square.

Still better than a new H&H built on the M98 at 22,000 pounds
