Custom Bolt Knob

I would like to know if someone know where i can find a custom bolt knob for a savage model 12 ?

I look for something like the second pics on the link

We no longer put our bolt knobs onto Savage bolt handles. FAR too many of them have massive porosity, which is only ever found once the factory knob has been machined off and by then it is too late to go back, short of buying another bolt handle are hoping for some steel hiding under the factory finish:bangHead:

I was shopping around for the same thing. Again, not too many options. Stockade, Sharp Shooter Supply, and Brownell's are the only places I could find ... all in the US. I remember checking out a 10BA a year or so ago at a local gun shop and it had the longer "tactical" bold knob. Looking at the Savage website it doesn't look like they come standard anymore. Maybe you could call Savage and ask. I know they ship parts to Canada.

Anyone else with some suggestions? I'm looking for a longer, thinner bolt knob that won't come so close to my scope and pinch my thumb if I'm not careful.
 
I got an action from Juanaldez (North Shore Barrels) site sponsor here, and it had one of his custom bolt knobs. Long and thin. Give him a try.
