Locked out of my old account so have to go through this process to use the site freely I guess.
What’s the market like these days for listing custom builds, value new vs used market?
Less than 25 rounds down the pipe, high end .280 AI
 
Welcome from South Eastern Ontario. As far as the gun market it will be dependant on the components used and im saying around 75 percent of the build value however if you find someone looking for exactly what you built you may do better but you basically bought a new car and trying to sell it and recoup as much as possible but ur gonna take a hit. Just my opinion. Best of luck
 
Custom builds are always a tough sell. You build it exactly like you want it - but then when you go to sell it you have to find someone else that wants that exact article….and has the $ to buy it.

I’m really noticing lately that unless it’s in the newest, latest, whiz-bang caliber that it tends to languish for a while on the EE, unless the price is REALLY discounted. A few years ago it was .308, then 6.5 Creed, then 6 Creed, now it seems to be the PRC’s. 280 AI is a heck of a round, but like many is no longer as popular.
