Custom built PRS rifle: Who's the best and why?

Patrice Menard (a Cadex factory shooter) placed not too far behind Nate. The Insite guys were top 20 and another Albertan was top 20 as well. Us Canucks had decent representation at Meaford.

Insite had 5 shooters sporting their gear in the top 20 of which 1 was in the top 10 at his first match to boot. Other 2 heading to the final are sporting Insite gear to.

A buddy of mine is the "2nd" guy that qualified for the finals in San Antonio shooting a PGW Coyote in .308 with 175gr bullets. He shot 3 PRS matches in 2016 and all were in the Tactical division. He is a great shooter and I am fortunate to get to shoot with him.

He loves the Coyote and will say that it is the most reliable rifle in the match. Some may disagree but few would be able to argue with his results. If you are looking to get a good unit for PRS or any other type of shooting PGW is a valid contender. I shoot AI and also love my rifle. I just can't operate it near as good as he can operate his. 5000 rounds a year builds competence in talented people.

So true and a lot don't get that...Round count is seat time if you will. No replacement for rounds down range and perfecting the movements and trigger control of what ever rifle you run. And Steve runs a pretty good brake on is coyote too...wink..wink..nod..nod

Ya, sorry, forgot about the Insight brake. I think after he got that is when it really started to turn around for him. It is a great brake unless you are on the mat beside him... Lets him sight most shots to the target. In PRS that is a big advantage. Certainly when you are running 175's at 2750.
