Not mine; he is some kind of poodle mutt. Great pointer with a soft mouth but uninterested in birds, a shotgun blast would probably scar him for life

Many years back, I was tasked with taking care of my aunt's standard Poodle when they went south for a funeral. I was going duck hunting that weekend regardless, so I took the Poodle with me. That Poodle watched my friend's lab retrieve a couple times, and then started doing the same. Turned out he was a great retriever. My aunt wasn't pleased with the slough water smell of him when she got back though. - dan
