Awesome... I just took a pic of that african blackwood one I have you like... Better detail... Will post when not on mobile...

Isn't it great to have some you can display and use... I have a couple turkey calls that will join the yote ones on my shelf... When I have a shelf that is... :)

I saw the pic you posted on ###, that's indeed a gorgeous looking call. I can't wait for Carver's website to be back running again.

Here's a cool little call made with a one piece open reed out of Elk antler. It will do some wild cottontail out to fawn distress. There's a paw print on the side for some cool factor and a little antler tip on a string to hook your lanyard around. If you look in the pics, it also has a small paw print on the cut end of the antler. Made by Dirt's Custom Calls.

This call was named "Double Trouble" by the maker. It is a forked piece of deer antler tipped with stabilized ash burl. This call gives you the option to pick two enclosed reeds, one is jack rabbit distress and a coaxer.

Here's a cocobolo Head Knocker, Oil and wax is the finish, and it's tuned to break raspy when you blow in it.

Gray Ghost Buckeye Burl

Here is a ORION Call made from Buckeye Burl. The Burl in this one is a darker gray has been CA stabilized and has a high gloss CA finish. The call is tuned with an ORION distress tone board. It's about 2.75 inches tall and can rip some raspy distress calls.

Tony Tebbe calls

After months of waiting, I finally got the call I ordered from Tony Tebbe and deceided to get another one as well.

The first one is a small howler that Tony worked on. He hand scraped it down with a piece of broken glass, just like the traditional powder horn makers did 100 years ago, before he sanded and polished it (notice how thin is the bell).

This little howler can scream female or pup and can raise the roof on coyote/pup distress. It features a TT 2 toneboard.

The second one is a classic one piece TT antler distress call.

Update: The Carver Calls website is up and running again, two weeks earlier than it was supposed to.

Thanks for the FYI bellero. Just ordered two of Kerry's Open Reed calls off of call set 2. My pocketbook thanks you :D

My pleasure mate,

Here's something else, a one piece cow horn howler made by TJ Shockler. That thing can rip some serious loud howls that can be heard from quite the distance. Very nicely made.

Bellero we may have to stage an intervention soon if you keep on buying all these beautiful calls!

I know, it's a pretty addictive hobby but the wife doesn't mind it because it's cheaper than buying guns! LOL!

One of my dad's old friend is an avid duck hunter and call collector as well. He's got over 200 custom and vintage duck calls, some are worth over $500

I guess I'm not too bad with less than 30 calls so far, no intervention needed yet! ;)
