Custom Fabarm barrels? Anyone have their Fabarm shortened?

So I'm really keen on going down to a 26"-28" shotgun. 870 and clones appear to be the only option.

I have a 14" Fabarm that is a fantastic gun, however I'm looking for the shortest legal oal to improve ease of carry while I'm fishing, hiking, etc.

Has anyone ever offered 8.5" barrels for the Fabarm? Anyone in Canada offer custom work on these shotguns?

I much prefer my Fabarm over any 870 I've handled to date so I'd really like to stick with modifying the shotgun I have.

Any suggestions or information on where I should start looking?

There's a fair number of barrel options now. Have you looked at the pistola? Not quite 8.5, but its getting closer!

Anything under 14" require extensive modification for the gun, magazine shortened, fore-end ect...
Buy the Pistola with 10" barrel, less complicated route.

Yeah the 11" might be the best route without going to the 870 platform.
