....

Nice setup!!!! Congrats!

Little question ..... where did you get the case from?
And if you made it yourself .... feel like sharing a bit more about how you made it?

ThAnks for the positive feedback guys!

About the Jic case, Was looking into manufacturing them in Canada since we cannot import them from Mossberg usa. Do you think Anybody would buy them for like $65 + shipping?

I can also make diy video, but i use uncommon tool, i am a machinist and build them with industry tool. I also sandblast and paint them, Od green, black or flat dark earth

For $65 + shipping .... you have one customer already ... :)

The only thing missing is a carrying handle or a shoulder sling ....

This setup would be perfect for a canoe trip .... but when you portage all the gear ... at least there needs to be a handle and D-Rings to attach a shoulder sling .....

I would buy one asap for $65. The shockwave is my new truck/hiking gun and would love a waterproof case for the truck.

Sure! Prototype is made, but i have to change tube size. I first used 4inch pipe, it works for the shockwave but its too tight and it can rail of a bit the top receiver. Gonna have to use non standard 115mm pipe. Will call monday to get all the material needed and build a website.

Also will do 6inch tube for shotguns. Will try my shockwave with magpul stock.

Will also check for sling option. Would be nice QD and ajustable sling.

Decent !!

And +1 for the sling idea. Like 1 standard sling loop at each ends so the user can use whatever he wants for a sling. Or provide a 550 sling option for an extra. Doubles up in the utilitarian point of view.

I think you’d get a market for bigger tubes for bigger rifles.

I'd love one for sure, especially if it was large enough to hold a standard hunting stock and scope mounted or pistol grip and lower upper of modern rifles.

Another customer right here.

Hey guys!
It’s been a while! After seeing all your positive reaction to this project, I worked hard to make things done. It’s been really challenging to me and I’ve faced couple of issues.

Issues encountered
First, I found that I cannot use widely available 4inch pvc pipe to build the shockwave case. I previously did a prototype using 4” pvc pipe from home depot. Seems to work at first, but these are too tight with an inside diameter of 3.975”. The shockwave will fit in but you have to force push it down the pipe and found it will rail off the top receiver a bit. So I decided to buy an actual shockwave with JIC case and check what its made of. The tube came home and find out it was 4.5” external diam. And internal diameter of 4.218”.

Special material
After tons of call, figured out I can find these rare pvc dimensions in with municipal pvc distributor. They are called DR32.5. That’s exactly what Mossberg use. I found something similar in stock at 300km away from me and going to pick them up Friday. Special tube size also means special end cap. I cannot find good looking one that will fit these dimensions, as a machinist, I am going to turn them to the perfect fitment into the cnc lathe with 5” raw polyethylene hdpe or 3d print them.
I have the proper inside plug to seal the tube with the wingnut (same as Mossberg) and also going to be offering adjustable sling to help caring the tube.

2 available model
Shockwave model (up to 4.155” diameter”) and shotgun model for bigger firearm (up to 5.89” diameter). Will provide size chart to help you measure your guns and check fitment.
All the tube will be tested and get waterproof certification. 3 color available, Black / OD green / FDE all non reflective.
I start pre-order now, and will only offer a VERY limited quantity for this first production so don’t wait and get yours before it’s gone! only 8 left for the shockwave format (4” diameter) and 3 left for the shotguns format (6” diameter).
Price is a bit higher than what was suggested previously, for the reason described above, and also for all the time I worked hard to make a perfect product like Mossberg did and building a user-friendly website. Once all sold out, next production only in September when I will come back from my military work. Price list here https://bit.ly/3AcXKvy
