(a) that is capable of containing more than five cartridges of the type for which the magazine was originally designed and that is designed or manufactured for use in
(i) a semi-automatic handgun that is not commonly available in Canada,

There are no "commonly" available .50 Beowulf Pistols in Canada. Somebody will need to import a large batch of those before we can get those magazines. What threshold is 'commonly'? Who knows... But IIRC, there are less than 100 LAR-15 pistols.

Do-able, but they'll cost more than factory 10s.

AIA 10 round 308 magazines. Can fit in M14 and M305 non-restricted rifles - only seem to be available on AIA rifles imported from Australia.

7.62X39 5/20 round mags for AR/XCR platforms. They are IMPOSSIBLE to find.

I wish someone would also make a 10/20 or 10/30 XCR pistol mag.

Marlin 795 .22 10 round mags, 15 would be better.

7.62x39 magazines are indeed hard to find right now. Most factories are focusing on the high demand stuff. Marlin mags are do-able.

These are some of the hardest items for our company to obtain. As an E-Commerce store we're shut out of many Canadian distributors, who are the sole source of these magazines. The future is scary for these people!

What I've seen that are hard/impossible to find;


Gevarm .22 20 round mags.

Benelli R1 5/10 round mags. 30-06. I can send you pictures of where the pin goes if needed.

There are currently no magazine extensions for and semi Benelli shotguns in Canada, you could look at trying to get some of them too.

Winchester SXR detachable mags to fit BAR longtrac & shortrac rifles. Or even just the floorplates. I can send you part numbers if you're interested.

XCR 7.62x39 pistol mags.

We can work on basically everything here, except the 7.62x39 LAR mags (see above)

We have SR9 10 rounders coming in August (maybe July if we're all lucky). 10/17s would be more expensive, but are available. If it's an issue of the last rounds being too tight, you can always shave a hair off the bottom of the follower on 10 round magazines.
