Thanks for the compliment! It's been a long-time labour of love... I initially got an image in my mind of what I wanted it to be, and slowly worked towards what you see now. It took me over a year of tinkering, and though I don't get a lot of time to shoot or work on my guns, I do enjoy it. I've always been a creative and customization-type guy. the wooden stock was a $15 piece of Russian birch ply from Home Depot, which took hours of cutting, laminating, shaping, and sanding to get what I wanted. If I were commissioned to modifyanother rifle just like this, I would probably have to charge about $600-800 in order to make it worth my time. But since it was all play to me, it makes it worth it.LOL... Haters gonna hate
For me it was more for fun than anything else.

IDK, haven't weighed it. But it is quite hefty, hence the bipod It feels good to me though, I don't mind a good workout
haha I knew that would come up... I'm still actually using the OEM mag, with a metal airsoft M14 magazine body riveted to it. The reason for this was two-fold, as i was looking for something away from the look of all the super-curved banana magazines for the SKS, and secondly I tried a removeable magazine and found it very unreliable but found the OEM mag to perform flawlessly. Maybe later on I'll try messing with removable mags again...

Looks pretty good overall, but 1 thing I noticed... your flip up sights are backwards. They are designed to flip forward.
