Hi guys I know there is many threads on this but I am looking for some tips from those of You that have done this before. I am finally able to build my dream reloading gun cleaning work area it will be in the form of a U and in a space about 10' x 12'. I am using a CNC to custom make all my cabinets and items for the bench so my options are virtually limitless. It will have 2 presses and room for a third. Please give me any storage and organization ideas or design ideas You have that may assist me in the design.

Edit: updated pictures on page 10

I'm interested in this too. Out of Curiosity what CNC system do you use.

go big and heavy. other than that look at picture threads to get ideas... my bench is two repurpised cabinets with two layer of 3/4 ply on top for a total of 8 square feet. way too small for me and all my reloading gear but i live in a small apartment

Lockable cabinets. Interior LED lighting in the cabinets. Electrical outlets built in to the front. Hidden mini fridge for when not dealing with powder. Built in speakers for wifi. A spot for a girls with guns in bikini's calendar. Grooves cut into the tabletop for plexiglass windstoppers to slide in for the RCBS Chargemaster, or a spot for a computer monitor and web cam to zoom in on your balance beam. A hole in the tabletop for sweeping powder and garbage into a container within a cabinet. You can use the same hole to put a boat cupholder into when not in use.

I really like some of these ideas, I plan on doing the led Puck lights in the cabinets and tape light underneath my upper cabinets. My bar is about 15 steps away so No need for fridge I'll definitely do the garbage hole idea.

Here is a man with an amazing plan!

Thanks, I was totally sober when I thought of that too!!!! I will have to think of some more. lol

Yup the 650s are for 40 , 45 & 223. The 550 is for 357,44,454 . The single stage for 308 , 300win. The turret I use for decapping , small base dies and my instant indicators

OP, use slat wall where your cupboards don't cover. They are robust and you can hang almost anything you want from them. Look great too.

That is a nice press setup You have there pitbull. Lead hammer may I ask why slat board and not peg board? I had planned on doing custom peg board out of 1/8" aluminum and armacoat it all.

It's easy to install.
Supports like 80lb per foot,( something like that )
Can use hooks, buckets, nets........
The finish won't wear off or scratch
It looks good in my opinion too, I use to work at a shop for 12 years, I made tons of stuff from metal,( welder ) and now find a bit of contrast much better. ( since the rest of your cupboards and such will be metal )

I helped a buddy install some and was really surprised at the solidness of it.

All my cupboards will be most likely be made out of maple veneer plywood with a 1 1/2" custom Concrete countertop or I may use phenolic resin or butcher block for my top I am still undecided there. It will utilize the port hole garbage idea brought up earlier aswell as have undercabinet lighting and lighting inside the cabinets if needed. I will also have alot of plug ins at back of top aswell as some mounted in the front of the cabinets. I will also have a water fill for my SS tumbler and ultra sonic cleaners aswell as a small drain (hopefully if I can rig it up). That is my plan right now and Once I design it on computer I will post pictures of it during it's progress
