Custom Rifle and such...

So your whole purpose and intent of this thread was to run my nose in the ground?

No...I simply figured that a few would appreciate such a rifle.

It will be mine,.. not anytime soon, but someday.

As far as rubbing your nose in the ground. Believe me, your nose is far too high in the air for me to ever rub it in the ground.

I posted these particular actions and rifle cause I have seen up them close, and thought they were pretty nice and what looked like great work done on them.

I shoot meager lever action Marlins, the odd sako or CZ.

I would someday like to have a Klett though

A word to you people who felt the time it took to read this post as wasted.
How do you think some of us have felt after reading some of your posts?
It was a good gun related post with pictures. What is supposed to be posted on gun related blogs?
It makes me think, of those who complained, that your interest in firearms ends with the Model 94 Winchester.

A picture and post referring to a hunting rifle in a forum dedicated to hunting rifles. Huh, go figure. Sealhunter, I was going to stick up for you, that is a real pertty gun. After your comment about my 770, I'm not to sure. It's really hard to detect sarcasm on the internet. Maybe I'm being sarcastic right now! How will we ever know? Also, I have yet to fire the 770 although my 6.5 puts 10 out of 10 in a 5" circle at 300 yds with open sights. Thats good enough for me. I don't need a sub moa gun to make up for lacking in other areas. {possibly more sarcasm}

what comment did I make on the 770?

Does it shoot MOA?

If that's what you were referring to, I sincerely wanted to know.

Sorry sealhunter, As I said, it's so hard to detect sarcasm and I thought for sure thats what I was getting. I have been taking a beating over this 770 and maybe I have a bit of a sore spot. As for your question, I have'nt shot it yet. Are these rifles capable of such a feat? From what I've seen, these rifles can produce decent accuracy but I got married 6 years and 2 kids ago and have not picked up a gun pretty much since then so I'm probably pretty rusty.

I am the last person whoneeds an explanation for, or hear a defence for a rifle purchase, no matter if it's a 770 or a Komber..

I have seen some played with that did an inch. I had a 710 in 7mm Rem Mag.

If it produces the results you want, it's pretty hard to argue with that;)

Thats refreshing to hear, thanks. As I said I have been away from the hunting scene for awhile and aquired the 770 in a trade not knowing much about it. I did my research after the trade and found that alot of people had horror stories about 770's. I'm still going to use it and form my own opinion. I can't wait for next deer season. By the way it's a .308.
