Custom Rifle Makers

This was last years WSS of BC donation rifle Gary Flach and I built and donated to be raffled off, Its a Kimber Montana 8400 WSM donor 6.5 PRC, It has a 22 in Hells Canyon Armoury Carbon Fiber barrel with a brake added, action was trued&squared, Talleys and a Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 BRH scope, the rifle is amazingly accurate with factory Hornady 143gr ELDX.

Im not sure a $12-$15,000 Gunwerks rifle will shoot any better than this rifle costing about $3800 to build !

Here a similar rifle to the one above also built by Gary Flach on a Kimber Montana 8400 (300 win mag donor), now a 300 PRC with a 26 inch Hell Canyon Armoury CF barrel, Gary lengthened the mag box to accommodate the long shells of the 300 PRC, this gun also shot amazingly well with anything I put through it, factory ammo or handloads.

What a shame. I thought this thread would have more pictures....

Chris Griesbach did this 275 Rigby for me.

Beautiful rifle and a good eater hanging there. Clay @ Prophet River actually has two Griesbach customs on consignment; 375 H&H and 9.3x62 that I keep drooling over. Back to the thread, Bob Galloway @ Custom Gunworx in AB has done two for me in 338 WM on a Model 70 action and a 7mm-08 on a 700 action. Both superb and built with made in Alberta components (Jury Barrels and Wildcat Stocks). Nice to support our local and Canadian 'smiths!
