Custom Savage 260AI

Amazing rifle I am slowly planning out a rifle I want to put together this coming winter. was planning on ordering a laminate blank from Richards microfit stocks however starting to have doubts on the finished product I would be able to produce. I am intrested in wood working and have access to a good shop but have limited experience. I am considering ordering one of thier inletted prone stocks and finishing it instead as a first run. Quick question what did you use to cut off the cheek piece was I was considering using a band saw and ordering a Warner Tool Company adjustable cheekpiece hardware. Would love to see more pics on how you inletted and carved that stock.
