Custom XCR Barrels

I'm still waiting as well I'm definitely interested...

Here is the round I would like to see and I'm drooling just thinking about it...

Oh yeah one upper in 22PDK for gophers/predators & the other in 6.8 SPC spec 11 1-11" twist for predators/deer/bear...

Something tells me that the velocities are a bit high in the data but he was using a 24" Lilja barrel for the tests I would want a 21" - 22" thin contour (not as thin fluted would be even better) s/s match grade barrel...

Believe me once we have any info either positive or negative we WILL be posting it.
We are NOT taking any orders for custom XCR barrels until we KNOW that we can make it work and the the barrel WILL make an improvement. If we find that a high quality barrel does not improve the accuracy of the XCR rifles significantly we will not be offering them.

Why is the project canceled?

Is it because you aren't sure that a match grade barrel will improve the accuracy of the XCR? I've heard that removing the barrel nut and barrel extension is risky and can result in permanent damage. Is this the reason?

I was really looking forward to this, and even contemplating being a guinea pig for a match grade 5.56 nato barrel.
