What do you think of a customer appreciation day? We're thinking of renting a movie theatre when the next popular new movie comes out and using it as a customer appreciation kind of thing. I know it is geared more to local customers but I thought I would see what people think before going a head with it.

I didn't know there were enough professional costumers around Kingston that bought guns that justified an appreciation day. Never really saw the drama types as gun owners.

Customer appreciation idea. Look at what the customer has bought in the past year and base a discount on past purchases. Say I've bought between $100-$199 worth in the past year, I would get 1% off my purchase this week. If I've bought $600-$699, I'd get 6% off this week. Up to a maximum obviously, you can only sustain a certain discount given that you are a business and not a charity. Say, maybe max out at 25%.... Just my 2¢

We do various discounts during the year...as to the 25% idea...there is t any where near that much mark up on guns and ammo...it's a very competitive business.

We wanted to do something different for this one.

Just the fact that you even considered this idea shows exactly what I've known all along.......SFRC a great place to deal with, good people, good prices and always thinking.
cheers Ryan, if I weren't in BC I'd be there to buy the popcorn.

Howdy ...

It is a good idea. Although I am out of town and wouldn't be able to attend, It would be a nice gesture to those that are close.

Or ... you could offer a customer appreciation sale on your website. Say some where between 15-25% off ?? Or something like that.

Just thinking out loud ...

Don't know if there'd be enough local participation to fill a theatre.

How about a customer appreciation raffle? Have a 1 or 2 day online sale, name gets entered once for every $100 spent. 3 prizes drawn, from sweet gun packages, ammo or gift certificates, maybe some cool training or a gun-themed trip or ?? How about a pair of SFRC passes to get into SHOT 2017?

I might be in the minority here but I say screw the sales, close the shop and throw a kickass bbq. Maybe throw some door prizes in but not required.

I've been to a theatre customer appreciation before and I must say the best part was free candy, popcorn and drinks on a table at the front of the theatre. Keep that in mind if you do this!

This is a great idea too! Easy to administer too, so you can actually have some fun at your own event. Roast a pig and give away some gun stuff.

I'd be an even more appreciative customer if you eventually developed a 25, 50m restricted range on the extra property you now have. I'd like to reserve a membership for that... Range <5 minutes from my house would be great... and result in more purchase needs...

I'll vote for this idea too. Meet and greet...bbq....sounds like fun.
