Customer Encore Bareel/Importing from the US?

I am thinking of getting another barrel for my Encore for Coyote hunting. I am wanting a .204 Ruger, but I hate the length options by Thompson Center(do you really need a 28" Barrel on a .204...) So I thought I would get a customer barrel made. I am thinkin a medium weight 21" SS would be about perfect, and on the Encore frame be a nice short, handy gun for shooting Coyotes.
Is it a real PIA to get them imported, or would I be better off just getting a Pro hunter bareel cut down?
 
Barrels require the U.S. export permit that requires a Canadian import permit to get and time.
Encore barrels come in 24 and 26 inches. A 28" barrel is for a 'Pro Hunter'. Having a custom barrel made will be every expensive. Go talk to wherever you bought your rifle about barrels.
