Just a shout out to thank Gary for great customer service. Two rifles arrived and he is dealing with a small matter for me as well. Thanks very much. A review on these rifles is planned for the future.

Same here, Couple days ago I received the 9mm ammo I ordered from them no complaints at all!!
Straight forward and nuthin weird. Thank-you!!

They really are awesome, whether you are buying, returning something that wasn't quite right or entry level shopping Wanstalls has always treated me like I was the only customer in the room.
 
Yeah -

That's one of the REALLY great aspects of wandering into Wanstalls - they are completely unpretentious.

You could be completely new to the sport, and you are treated as if you were an 'old pro' - they really make ya feel comfortable.

It's all good at Wanstalls - would recommend them to anyone.

I have just about finished my first big order with them for a Les Baer Supervarmint that will finally get to Canada after a custom order, and I also have been super impressed with Gary and the team there. Will definitely use them and recommend them again.
I had previously measured all my interactions against my go to dealers, (Wolverine Supplies and Mystic Precision-who are both amazing and highly recommended), but I think Wanstalls is in that group now too!
 
Maybe you HAVE to phone them for action?
Back in October I was trying to buy a new PCC. I emailed every Canadian dealer I could find that carried the item I was after.
Wanstalls was the first dealer I emailed and the one I emailed the most (about 3-4 times over the following 4 or 5 days). I can't remember exactly why. I think it was because they were closest so shipping would be fastest? Their price was the same as I was seeing elsewhere. Well except for a coupe of dealers who's prices were pretty inflated.
I tried to give them my money and then I tried again and again.
I was financing through TCC though so I wasn't actually trying to give them MY money but...I even asked TCC to contact them ...twice..and they got nowhere fast too.

I figured that if it's this hard to get a response from a company BEFORE they have my money...what does that say about their Customer Service and how impossible will it be to get a response if I need service??

I went elsewhere and hadn't planned on ever trying to buy from Wanstalls in the future BUT...after reading this thread I feel better about potential future business with them.
Hey, maybe my emails to them went straight to their spam folder everytime. And Tactical Capital Corp's emails must have too.

Now I know. Next time CALL!!!!

Hmmm, I always like to call and not email, as I usually have questions after they answer my initial inquiry. Plus immediate feedback and answers.
I phoned them 3 times before I actually placed my order, and Gary couldn't have been better or more patient. On my fourth call, placed the order and went thru everything and have heard back from them several times with updates as well, great customer service.
