'Customising' a coach gun?

Id talk to some of the boys that do Cowboy Action Shooting. I don’t know about tacticallizing it, but they should be able to point you to somebody that can “slick her up” to run fast and dependable.
 
Anyone into cowboy action should be good to go to. I know some ppl who have had their coach guns altered to open to a greater angle and have had the chambers polished so that fired hulls fall out easily at the flick of the wrist. Ribs can be drilled and tapped for lasers and reflex sights as well. Triggers can be polished and pull weight reduced. Forearms can be altered to fit hands or changed so that they force you to point you supporting hand which helps some ppl shoot faster

Agree, you'll probably get more traffic in the Action Shooting Competitions sub forum.

I'd call Rusty Wood Trading for this project, well established CAS gunsmith.
