Cutting a barrel?

It can be a 15 minute job... complicated maybe 25 minutes... $80 an hour for shop time is reasonable both ways... it isn't like a 20 stall garage where they need $120 an hour...

$100 to cut and crown a barrel is horrible. It shouldn't be more than $30 to $40 in my opinion.
Welcome to the wonderful world of oil-inflated economies. I am sure that might be in BC. Maybe I'd better start sending stuff to you.
I paid $450 to the same gunsmith to have 2 P-14s reamed out to .303 Imp. Guess I'll need to get my next project through you. Thinking on a .38/.303 on another P-14.
