Cutting down/shortening a DAA Belt

Hi everyone,

I've lost weight over the last little while, and find my DAA belt it too big. I was thinking about cutting off a few inches. Does anyone have any experience or tips for doing this?

Humm, since it's all nylon, I would think it would be okay provided you carefully cauterize the cut end so it doesn't thread out. But don't take my word for it. Not sure what material they're using to keep the webbing THAT stiff. If it's in good condition, probably sell it and pick up a new one?

I have a 34 that is 2" small for me and would like to trade for a 36? Might be going up on the EE real soon.
