It's generally frowned upon to advertise another retailer on a sponsored post from a different business. That's why I suggested emailing us directly if you'd like to request a price match. However, as you can see, the other store does not currently have the item in stock. Firearm prices at our distributor have been rising recently, so it's likely that store stocked the item before the price increases.
Exactly right! So many outdated prices floating around where the old stock is long sold out. Some folks who can't comprehend the rising prices on everything are naive enough to think that replenished stock will be back at the same price. It's generally frowned upon to advertise another retailer on a sponsored post from a different business. Fair enough, I personally know why it’s out of stock…..hint hint.Exactly right! So many outdated prices floating around where the old stock is long sold out. Well........ I completely agree with you! I have no issue with CGS what so ever and it was top notch that they agreed to price match! IF people actually completely read what, and how I posted the comment; then you would understand that it was in relation to the typical comments made by people that just find it necessary to shoot their mouth off about things without fully understand.... like Sun and Steel 77 ! (see below "naive") Some people may say I have thin skin........ but I believe society lets too many people say what ever they want without consequences! Also in regard to your "ragging on them" comment, please please please show me where there was any "RAGGING"I don't usually jump on these threads, but the dealer already said they would price match if you contacted them.
They also asked people to refrain from advertising other dealers in their forum, especially considering the last one isn't a CGN sponsor are they?
I've always been happy with the service I've gotten from CGS, they seem to have been a good sponsor for several events I've attended, and I've also purchased high-demand items from them at substantially lower prices than any other dealer had (at the time), especially at a time when people were absolutely scalping those items (for instance powders).
Maybe just give them a chance and see what they'll do for you on pricing rather than ragging on them on here.
I hope you are mistaken. I just ordered a v2 bbl with grey stock advertised as"td"According to CVA, all the takedown models are stainless, so the models above are not takedown models. The blued models cost less, Cabelas has blued Scouts for $539.99 currently.
CVA refers to the blued models as their "base model" Scout in their marketing videos. They do not use the same barrel (not fluted, not stainless) and lack the takedown feature. They are not the same rifle 1:1, they're similar.
Not badPricey. $386 USD now equates to $679.99. Yoink.
thats great dealReally? you just paid 560$ for a Stainless Takedown .223? Where???
