This is the latest thing I've bought. I'm so impressed that I want to mention it to others. It is the nicest "ordinary" utilitarian single shot I have.
This one is 44 Mag.

Parts fit is excellent. Trigger pull out of the box is excellent. Crisp and light. It has a case extractor, rather than an ejector so brass can't get lost.
It looks actually pretty in my opinion and comes with a pic rail already mounted.

Although CVA has outsourced production of these from USA, it is not to a third world country. Made in Spain to my surprise by the same company that makes Bergara rifles. The only cost cutting is on something that doesn't matter at all anyway. That is, all markings are burned in by laser engraving.

It's not a Colt AR or a CZ handgun, but I like it!
If you are in the market for something like this, don't hesitate.

Yep. I just got me 5th yesterday. 2-350 legends, 45-70 converted to a smokeless muzzleloader, 6.5 creed and just got a .223. They are all shooters and a great choice for getting kids into shooting. I like the compact size and the fact they're ambidextrous. I especially like the newer Gen with the adjustable lop and cheek riser. They are a great option for around $500. My only gripe is They are a bit heavy for their size. I really wish they were 1 lb lighter but I wish I was lighter too.
