Just wondering if you guys have any 300BO coming anytime soon?
Also I see in the states they have 6.5 Grendel models. Is that an option for us in Canada. I would love to get my hands on one if possible.
Both in stainless

Thank you

Good afternoon Bare,

It seems the model number for the CVA Scout in 300BLK is no longer available at the distributor we usually get most of our CVA rifles from, and the other distributor does not have any in stock. We do have them on backorder and hope to receive more stock within the next few months. The lack of availability could be due to the release of the new model of the Scout rifles, and we are simply waiting for a shipment of the next generation of Scout rifles. I know we will be stocking the new gen of the Scout rifles when we can get our hands on them. I will make a post on here when we do get them in with every caliber we can get.

Happy shooting,
Josh

Any chance you can put a word in requesting they make some in 7.62x39? Seems virtually nobody is making a single shot in 7.62x39 and I feel like it would be a popular seller. I've got my eyes on a 444 marlin or 360 buckhammer, but I would put that plan on pause if a 7.62x39 option showed up.

Thanks very much. Looking forward to the new models

It would seem like one of our distributors just listed the new Scouts! They still don't have any in the country at the moment with no ETA but we will place the calibers we don't have in stock on order. If you are interest feel free to PM us with your contact info and the caliber you're after and we will put you on our call back list.

Happy shooting,
Josh

Hey Josh, was there any info yet on pricing for these new Scouts? Would they be around the $550-$650 range again like the previous gen scouts?

Could you not get these from Begara directly?
Probably not. Generally speaking firearms manufacturers have specific distributors they work with in Canada, and the stores have to go through the distributors, they can't skip the middle man so to speak.

The price will probably be closer to 600 - 700 ish depends on model. As well as if any other distributors will be carrying them as they might list their cost lower but as of right now we can only see one distributor listing them.

I read there was a problem with the 300 Blackout and they were getting massive numbers of returns. Truth or rumour?
I know the previous generation didn't have any issues, as we sold over 30 units last year and haven't heard of any problems with them. I would assume there was a hiccup at the manufacturer, and it just happened to affect the 300BLK units produced at that time. So hopefully by the time we receive them, most of the issues should be resolved.

As Suther mentioned and another reasoning Canadian retailers can not get firearms directly from the manufacturers is due to the Government requiring businesses to have a federal firearm import license which takes a good amount of resources to obtain. I can ask our Begara dealer if they are planning on bring in any of their single shot rifles for you.

Thank you, ya just wanted to get a general idea of what they might be. Hopefully it stays around that price point and doesn't go to much higher than that...
