How do I handle a CWD positive animal ? Good question !

Here is IMHO the safest way to avoid it:

# 1 Shoot a legal, healthy looking specimen of the CWD carriers.

# 2 After filling out your tags, skinning,... rush to any available government "inspection" site (remember they are there to keep "Canadians safe")

# 3 Expect a "positve" result - keep cheerful in anticipation.

# 4 After receiving a "positive" result, immediately surrender your meat and guns to the government so they can dispose of properly.

# 5 Go home with nothing, mourning the loss.

# 6 Don't forget to ask the Lord's forgiving for shooting a "CWD positive" animal.

^^ Shoes. I should have left my truck and dogs with the government too. Just in case they are cross contaminated...

All you you scared to death of CWD better not ever eat Alberta beef, They literally live in the pastures were CWD is the highest in this country :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: So if it dosent jump to cattle it wont infect humans.

And every hunter has probably eaten CDW positive deer around here . they just dont know it.

CWD testing is now mandatory in my zone, wasnt 3y ago. Mine tested positive this year, Got it during bow season, been eating it for 6 weeks before I got the results. The Backstraps were also delicious last night.

Ill stop eating CWD positive animals when we get a case of it in humans.
